Transou Plumbing came to the rescue on January 1st — New Year’s Day! I couldn’t believe they were working on a holiday, but it was perfect timing since I was off work anyway. Super convenient and much appreciated.
We had raw sewage surfacing in the yard from a broken cast-iron sewer line to our septic tank. They showed up quickly, located the problem, dug it up, unclogged the line, repaired the broken section, and added a much-needed cleanout — all for a very reasonable price. The lady at the office was very nice and professional when she explained the pricing for both the repair and the full replacement options.
The plumber himself was awesome: respectful, wore shoe covers inside the house, and took the time to explain everything in detail — why the pipe broke, how the clog contributed, and what to watch for going forward.
While he was here, I mentioned that our dishwasher hadn’t been draining properly — in fact, we hadn’t even used it since 2023 because we thought it was broken. He immediately checked the garbage disposal, found the knockout plug was still sealed (the one that’s supposed to be removed for the dishwasher hose), punched it out, and fixed the issue on the spot. Super efficient — and now we have a working dishwasher again after years!
Everything is draining perfectly now — both the sewer line and the dishwasher — no more wet spots outside, and we have a cleanout for easier future maintenance. Outstanding service from start to finish by a great local company with decades of experience. Highly recommend! 100%

I can’t say enough good things about Transou’s Septic and Plumbing. Their customer service was very courteous, kind, and prompt. They came out on a cold, rainy Saturday, which I truly appreciated. The gentleman who handled the job was awesome—very polite, easy to talk to, and made great conversation that wasn’t just about the work. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I am 100% satisfied with this company, and I’ve been dealing with them for over 25 years. Highly recommend!

Transou’s made this job easy! Had to have the tank replaced. The crew was courteous and obviously experienced professionals. The job was completed in a few hours and now the system is functional. The crew, who were super easy to talk to, took care of everything and cleaned up the site before leaving. Having professionals deal with the septic tank issue made my life easier. The price was fair and the people are great. Recommend!

From the office staff who answered the phone to the plumber who came out, Transou’s Plumbing and Electric was very impressive. I spoke to Megan on a Monday morning and she was kind, helpful, and also just fun to speak with given the resin for my call. Early Tuesday afternoon Zachary came to our home (with notice of being in the way first which was appreciated). He was respectful, efficient, and even educated us on some things! Turns out the job was easier than we anticipated which was a pleasant surprise. He even left us with a fun business card that was a squeaky duck which our toddler loves! Highly recommend this company, they hire great people who will take great care of their customers.

10/10 would recommend! We had a plumbing emergency of our main drain pipe backing up, and leaking under our house due to decades of severe corrosion. We called Sunday evening, got a call
back before 8am Monday. Jacob was able to come out on Monday just after lunch, and the major repair started Tuesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon, we were fully functional again. The entire Transou’s team was amazing. Excellent communication and customer service, very prompt service, no pushy upsells, and fair pricing for quality work. We also had them replace all three hose bibs while they were out.

When we get to the next stages of updating our plumbing, Transou’s will be our only call.
